I went here a long time ago and I still shudder every time I drive by this restaurant. It was such a horrible experience! The waitress was extremely rude. We got our order about 2 hours after we ordered it. Other guests who had come after us got their food before we got ours. The staff never apologized for their... More

I'm used to Indian restaurants serving papadum and condiments as a matter of course, and having to order every item on the menu individually was irksome. The food was good but not great, and I wouldn't choose this again for Indian in Tucson More

It was so good that I was sad to be full. It took a while to receive our order but it was worth the wait. We got plain nan and lamb curry. The nan was hot and fluffy, the curry was scrumptious. PS. Have some digestive enzymes handy after your meal just in case you over eat like we did. More

From start to finish, we loved our meal at NDP. This is not just another ethnic restaurant, it's really outstanding food and good (not highly polished) service. The restaurant is in a small strip mall but the interior is calming and pleasant with unusually comfortable chairs, nice murals of India, and soothing music. We came during their Tamil Nadu special... More

I had the Mix Grill with lamb, different dishes of chicken and seafood - it came with rice and Nan - and was amazingly tasty - and worth every penny More

Went there for dinner a couple of weeks ago with the family and had a great experience. Nice ambiance excellent service and the food was delicious. We've eaten in most of the Indian restaurants in Tucson but New Delhi Palace is by far the best. They also offer a special menu which is different every month and the dishes in... More

This used to be my favorite Indian restaurant in Tucson. Yes it's shabby and the service was spotty at best--once I went in about 45 minutes before closing and 20 minutes later they told me that, since I was the only customer, they wanted to box up the food I hadn't eaten so they could close! And I still went... More

Plain atmosphere, clean, but plain. The food is good, but nothing that will knock your socks off. I was slightly disappointed by the service. Wait staff was few and far between. The kitchen uses a little too much cilantro for my taste but everything else was good. More

Whenever I am on the East side of town, I try to visit this restaurant. I first went several years ago and have been back may times since. I think the atmosphere is wonderful and for those that say the decor is run-down, I say it is "lived-in" probably because the food is so good they get a lot of... More
