My wife and I decided to visit this restaurant though a promotional offer. We were not sure what to expect but were extremely pleased. The restaurant has beautiful decor and the food and service were outstanding. We had the "Polish Sampler" which provided a wide assortment of extremely delicious Polish delicacies, all hand prepared and presented beautifully. The menu also... More

Imagine finding authentic Polish dishes in the heart of the Old West. You can at Amber. I had a delicious Golabki while my spouse had the Kielbasa and kraut. Both were very good and very authentic. Another person in our party had the assorted pierogis which were also very good. Be sure and start with a unusual soup - white... More

Genuine polish food is uncommon in the Southwest, so Amber is making a name for itself by providing quality authentic Polish lunches and dinners. My favorites so far are the goulash and polish sausage. I'm not a big pierogi fan, but the sampler plate has them and I liked them! It's a nice location near Udall Park and they have... More

Tucson has some wonderful restaurants, many of them Mexican or American. Amber Restaurant is different. It's Polish and Eastern European, and unless you just hate that kind of food, I think you'll like the place a lot. The service and atmosphere is good. The food was very good. The prices were somewhat reasonable. We'd definitely go there on a future... More

I'm not a connoisseur of Polish food but it seems to me that what is served at Amber is particularly bland. Moreover, the place and the service is very "chi-chi", way too much for the kind of food you get. It's expensive too. More

Peter, the Warsaw native, has struck a chord with Polish food afficianados. Everything is home made and fresh. Sausage is flown in from Chicago. Try the sampler platter - includes various types of pierogi, stuffed cabbage rolls, sausage - yum! More

We were happy to find this restaurant right across the street from our hotel and it advertised Polish food, which we like. We were very warmly greeted and seated right away. The dining room was very pleasant and also nicely decorated with a local artists painting. Nice background music played. Hubby had the pork cutlet and I had the Goulash.... More

but not for European standards: the potato cakes were soggy, the Rouladen needed a better and thicker sauce. However, it is nice to have a Middle European restaurant in town and the dessert was quite good. Will go again More

This place was fairly busy early, and everyone seemed over 60, most way older. They have a number of Polish items. I had a fish special, and it was way overcooked, but curiously not very hot when it arrived. My wife's entree was hot and pretty good. Service was kind of haphazard, the servers seemed flustered although there aren't that... More
