Wimpy Skippys are the best and cannot be duplicated anywhere! You don't have to be afraid of ordering too many--they'll all be eaten!

Okay, I've heard about this place forever and finally tried it on a fairly quiet Sat. afternoon. I had forgotten anything about style or price when we walked in and was surprised at the fairly boring options for toppings. Esp. these days when there are so many interesting combinations. I get that's not their thing so we went with a... More

Have had Casserta pizza a number of times when we visit Providence to see our son and Italian daughter-in-law because they like it a lot. However, my wife and I are not big fans. Crust is too thick, not crisp and just a bit charred, sauce unremarkable, pepperoni OK but, again, not unlike pepperoni on pizzas from chains. All this... More

Nothing fancy about this place, just great pizza. Spicy sausage, thick crust, that first bite is pure heaven. We no longer live in Providence, but will go out of our way to enjoy a true classic.

Its not that I had a terrible experience, I just dont understand why everyone likes this pizza. There is not really one redeeming quality to it.

This place is a landmark in Providence. The "dining area" is a bit like a cafeteria. The girls behind the counter were less than enthusiastic and could at least smile and thank you for choosing their establishment. They have great pizza and calzones but they don't take credit/debit cards.........

Been going to Caserta for 45 years when it was a hole in the wall. Never had a bad Pizza or pig. If you are coming to Rhode Island make it a point to go to the area's Best Pizza and calzones. Worth the drive from anywhere . Keep up the good work your the best

Great place for families with young kids or just when you are in the mood for great pizza. This place has stood the test of time... Many restaurants come and go, but Casertas is here to stay. Never disappointed when eating here or taking food out.

Greatest Pizza in the World! We went to Italy as a family for three weeks; after landing at the airport, we had the limo take us to Caserta's! It is a different kind of pizza than truly Italian pizza; it is quintessential Rhode Island! Side note: this page has spelled Caserta wrong! There is 1 S, not 2!!!

Of course, it's Caserta Pizza with one "s", but anyway... Yes, it's a bit pricier than you might want for a pizza place and the no credit cards is frustrating. But the pizza is very good, the people who work there are extremely nice, and there's a parking lot. I have been taking a group there for years and the... More
