Murphy's was one of our only options for a late night meal after a function at the convention center. We were a large group (approximately 20 people) and everyone loved the food. The reubens are a must, but everything else was very good. With such a large group, we had most items on the menu. The French Onion soup was... More

We stumbled upon Murphy's and were pleasantly surprised. I had the turkey reuben. It was huge and pretty tasty, although the sauerkraut could've been a little tarter/spicier. My boyfriend had the chicken strip sandwich and he also liked it. We also split a stuffie, and were underwhelmed by that (tasted mostly like Stovetop Stuffing). Overall good service. Just don't order... More

Murphy's Deli is Providence's version of a NYC Jewish Deli -with an Irish Pub twist. The atmosphere is Pub, the food is Deli. Great location if you're seeing a show at the Dunkin' Donuts Center as we were. It's only about a block away. We had a variety of sandwiches, mine was the Rueben which was excellent. Prices reasonable ($10-$14)... More

There's nothing like a good deli, but one that serves drinks as well makes for a success story. Muphy's Deli and Bar has been a fixture in Providence for years. The place is comfortable with friendly wait staff and the food is hearty and good. I particularly like the pastrami or corned beef sandwiches. The half-sour pickles and cole slaw... More

Used to be a good place when it was smaller and in a different location. Went there last night. Waitress was not friendly but she seemed preoccupied like she was feeliing poorly or was picking up someone else's slack. Corned beef sandwich on grilled rye was awful, fatty, thick slices when told was thin, etc. Nachos were disgusting. Cols chips... More
