My wife and I had read reviews and stopped in for a simple pizza dinner. Our pizza was absolutely delicious and very unique. The crust was made with corn meal and contained green chiles - which may sound strange but worked brilliantly. We were so impressed that we went out of our way the next morning before our flight out... More

We stopped at this bakery for lunch on our long drive to Sedona, Arizona. It was a wonderful break from all of the driving. It is located in a cute, artsy area of Albuquerque. The bakery itself has a ton of character and is immediately welcoming. It smells amazing and there are many delicious pastries, sandwiches, pizzas, teas, and coffee... More

The short version: Reasonable prices and tasty food - would definitely go back again. The long version: My wife and I drove to Golden Crown "Panaderia" after visiting the Museum of Natural History & Science. It's a small place, with some cramped indoor tables, as well as several outdoor tables and a fire pit. There was some construction going on... More

If you are looking for something different and unique than this is the place. My wife and I came here to try their pizza. We are pizza snobs so decided we had to try what they now refer to as : "New Mexico" Pizza, not to be confused with any other style of pizza. They make pizza with 3 types... More

We were fortunate enough to be staying in a condo right across the street from this New Mexico gem. The Golden Crown had already been recommended to us by several people. This place is terrific. Eating one of their hand-tossed pizza with green chile crust was like being transported to another world. Their sweets, cookies and pastries are to die... More

I love everything about this place from the super fresh and delicious food to the atmosphere and friendly service. I tend to get a hawaiian pizza on blue corn crust and a raspberry empanada out of the bakery case, then chill out on the patio while reading the paper.

Just had a great blue crust Hawaiian pizza. Lived up to its reputation and couldn't leave without a loaf of whole wheat cinnamon raisin for breakfast tomorrow. Great service and a smell to die for in their cosy cafe. Won't disappoint.

Every time I go to New Mexico, Golden Crown Bakery is a destination! It feels like home! The owner is passionate about his service and products! I've eaten my way through the bakery over the years. My mom stops just for the shortbread cookies and the empanadas, which keep fresh for days. I often bring home a loaf of green... More

Have been buying breads and cookies from Golden Crown Panederia for 40 years, the location changed many, many years ago but not the quality. The only place to get biscochitos (the New Mexico State cookie) for Christmas and throughout the year. Now great pizzas and sandwiches too! Don't expect a fancy establishment but it is real New Mexico and we... More

We stopped in late in the day,. The cookies are excellent and also tried a powered sugar apricot roll up, messy but you look like you were in a snow storm after eating it.
