My partner and I had lunch here and really liked our food. Chile stew and pastrami sandwich. Our waitress spoke good German and was very friendly, a true asset to this restaurant. Would definitely return if I ever get to ABQ again! More

I loved the decor and convenient location, but just found the food a bit disappointing---not bad, but nothing to write home about, either. More

We ate at the restaurant for lunch during the first weekend of balloon festival. It was busy but service was fine. We were seated quickly and our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time considering how busy the place was. Food is good and servings were ample. We had a variety of items; hamburgers, fried fish, meatloaf and "chili"... More

Recently visited during a long weekend stay for Balloon Fiesta. Loved the atmosphere - really takes you back to the 50s. The food was great diner fare. Especially enjoyed the Root Beer Floats and burgers. The service was poor and slow. Seemed like our server had just wandered in off the street! We had to rely on the assistant of... More

...the reviews here seem mixed. It's definitely a busy place--I don't know if it's first-timers, or return customers, though. We went for breakfast and everything we ordered was excellent. Friendly wait staff. It's a diner....and that's what we got. Diner food. If you're looking for haute cuisine, this is probably not for you. More

So my buddy tells me he spotted a new burger joint in town that we HAD to try since it looked so appealing. So myself, and 2 of my coworkers went there for lunch. The service was ok, people were nice. The place was empty when we arrived which scared me a little, but none the less, we were going... More

My partner and I visited the new location of the malt shop as it looked interesting and inviting everytime we pass by, what a BIG mistake. I ordered a cadillac burger and my partner ordered the special brashers cowboy burger. The biggest disappointment was how our burgers were cooked, it was a frozen patty that was browned on the outside,... More

The Route 66 Diner in Nob Hill - the new location - is a good place to eat if you want to get sick. Went there tonight, and what a mistake. I ordered the Cowboy Burger on the recommendation of the waitress, and it sounded good: Green chilis, pepper jack cheese and bacon. My partner ordered the Cadillac Burger. Both... More
