We visited this place 3 times during our 3-day vacation at Corpus Christi. My wife loved their bee sting cakes. We also had their lunch special. They were not heavy and good for a light lunch. It was very casual to eat there and good services.

We were late for dinner so settled for a Reuben and the last Pork cutlet. My Reuben was fantastic - on toasted rye, of course! It came with an odd German potato salad and sauerkraut. It was a puddle of potato salad - don't know what else to say except that I did not like it. My husband liked his...

Just finished lunch there. Not a good experience. My wife ordered a chicken strudel. I asked what made a Germanburger different. Counter person didn't know and had to find someone who did. After getting that info I ordered one, at that time my wife's lunch came out of the microwave! It took quite some time for my burger so my...

I am happy that this place is still in business. Finally a place that has substantial home-made bread. No, this isn't flaky Frend pastry, but substantial German baked goods.

I go to JB's to buy bread all the time. They have several different types of bread. My favoriate is black bread. Most of bread goes so well with Italian meals, sandwiches, or sausages. They have buy 2 for $6.50, $8.00 or $10.00 (depending on what kind of bread you chose) on Wednesday and Friday.
The people are great, stopped by to check out German delicacies. Try the strawberry or apple strudel you want be disappointed. The prices are also reasonable.
a great find on the island.....serving breakfast, danish, lunch and artisan breads. the inside decor is like a bistro and the staff are very helpful. many varieties of sweet treats available. A must stop!!
The people here are great. Very customer oriented, their food is amazing, they get up at 3am and start baking. Everything is fresh we love going there and sitting on the deck next to the canal. Our kids really enjoy it too. Stop by you will not be disappointed...just look for the round building before the second red light!!! I...

Very limited menu, no breakfast after 11am. Croissants and french pastries more like brioche - no flakiness to them.
