We stopped by here just to try out the desserts. I got a slice of their chocolate cheesecake that was amazing. My wife got a slice of the german chocolate cake, which she said was okay (had a buttercream frosting which we aren't fans of). They have a huge selection of desserts and cookies and their menu has some delicious...

We went here specifically to eat dessert, but ended up getting a sandwich with chips on their homemade bread. It was very good. They were really busy, and we went were there at 9:00 p.m. on a Wednesday evening. The service wasn't as fast or great as we'd like (they never refilled our drinks), but everyone was friendly. It has...

Varied menu, well-prepared. Good, quick service, ideal for lunch. Eaten here twice on two separate trips to SLC. Been happy with both trips. The highlight of the restaurant is absolutely the pastry case! Save room for dessert.

Take your friends, everyone order somthing different and share the taste's. This is a neighborhood bakery and eatery. Great food, amazing pastries and deserts. Reasonably priced. When we want a relaxed and fun meal before or after some other activity in Salt Lake City. The overall atmosphere is great and the variety of people coming and going make us feel like we are in Paris or NYC.

They have an amazing array of baked goods and I just want to start at one end and try one of each thing! The cakes are a work of art as are the tarts and cookies. Making a decision is just about impossible. The breads are gorgeous too. I settled on a chocolate croissant finally....perfectly made.
We had the oatmeal...

First off, it's Gourmandise, not Gourmandie's.
While on vacation we happened upon this place after stocking up at the wine store across the street. I only got a coffee as - unfortunately - I was still full from the previous night's dinner (coffee was not great, lacked 'robustity') hubby got the Baked Custard French Toast in a Vanilla Custard, I...

Accidentally found this place on a visit to SLC, and am ever so glad I did. I was so excited to see so many beautiful pastries in one place. I wanted one of everything, but settled for the cream croissant bread pudding. If this is an example of the rest of their offerings, I believe I have died and gone...

Stopped in while we were touring SLC bakeries. Loved the atmosphere and the girl that served us was very helpful and excited about the product she was selling. Can't remember all the items we tried, but they were beautiful and delicious.
