The bread was great but dipping oil simply tasted of balsamic. The appetizer (crab, spinach, artichoke dip) was great but took forever to come out (although the waitress did mention that it took slightly longer). The food came out within 5 minutes of the appetizer. The paella for two was average but there was enough for a family of four.... More

While you might think that this place seems too fancy at first, when you take a look at the menu you find it is quite reasonable for the gourmet food served. And, the people treat you as if you are a food reviewer. Don't miss their smoked salmon chowder. If you can't make a meal, it is a good way... More

Because we are pretty good cooks ourselves we look for a really great dining experience when we go out. And Michaels was a great find for us because it offers good local food. I had Neah Bay salmon with fresh local greens which was very good. The service was excellent , our server was knowledgeable and amiable which made our... More

We moved to the area this summer and have already eaten here several times. From a casual dinner with friends to a romantic anniversary dinner we have never been dissapointed. We enter from the front of the building to be lead down stairs into a dimly lit cozy restaurant. The food is great, the produce local and fresh, and the... More

We went to Michael's for a small BDay celebration and couldn't have been more pleased! We live local and will certainly go again and again and again....service was superb, the cocktails are wonderful and the food was exceptional. It is a hidden gem on the Olympic Peninsula. Go!

Had a meeting there, but I couldn't stay because of the intense garlic odor in everything. Even my skin seemed to ooze garlic before I left.

We've had some great meals here in the past, particularly salmon. Last night visited for a post holiday treat. Ordered the beef rib/prawn special, 1 rib that I probably was able to have shaved 5 thin pieces, 3 prawns that I needed a knife to cut. The accompanying veg was collard greens, I decided , well ok let's see what... More

Two entrances: one on the main street and one off the lower alley where there is free parking. Over-rated and over-priced was my opinion. Service was so-so; food was okay.

Found this place by pure accident but keep going back. Clams are a must, pear salad was great. Salmon was perfect. Waitress was very knowledgeable and definately knew her wines and provided some great recommendations. A cozy, friendly place everytime I go.
