Looking for a resto @ 21h30 on the Thurs before Easter sint east in a twon the size of Macon. But the proprieters warmy welcomed up, and provided a tasty meal, and small complimentary dessert, to boot, even thro we unwittingly stayed 10 min after their official closing. The other guests were Indian, a good sign, but the proprieter volunteered... More

We stopped in these restaurant on our way back from Florida. Since it was Christmas Day, the restaurant was almost full even though it was past dinner time. We requested them if we can have a faster service since we need to travel a bit to the destination. They told they will try, and we got the food pretty quickly.... More

Gobi manchurian dry was spicy and flavorful. Would order this again. Chicken mahkni had a very different flavor than we are used to, more tomato. we judged this dish a success and enjoyed every bite. Garlic and traditional nana was up to snuff and delicious. Tandori shrimp were a bit over done and the papers and onions were not given... More

This is our second visit to Taj Indian Restaurant. We discovered it while traveling. Don't be fooled by it's humble location ( next to a Dollar Store). It is world class Indian cuisine. We had chicken Tika masala, aloo gobbl, onion kulcha and their house chutneys with papadam. All outstanding. The restaurant interior is nicely appointed and the service excellent.... More

This place is right next to a Dollar tree and across from walmart, off of I-475 on Eisenhower parkway.Though looks really deserted from outside the inside is welcoming. The food is not the authentic Indian food (since I cook a lot of Indian food myself )but not bad either. The menu has a wide range of selections and changes daily for the... While this restaraunt is a bit hard to find (it's in a strip mall near WalMart off US80--Eisenhower Parkway) it is well worth the search--and you won't forget where it is after the first visit! We are never disappointed when we eat here, whether it's the buffet at lunch or a la carte in the evening. The buffet sides change... More

Taj restaurant really is the best in the middle Georgia area for Indian dishes. Coming from England (where curry has been voted the nations favourite food several years running!) my husband and I are serious about authentic Indian curries!:) Taj serves a wide variety of meat and vegetarian curries that they cook to order and to your specific taste. The... More

Ate here minutes ago. Tasty food, great service. Even though I have never been here before I knew it would be good because when we arrived, INDIANS were dining there. To me, that is the strongest endorsement for any Indian restaurant. (Same goes for Chinese eating at a Chinese place). I instantly knew the food would be at least somewhat... More
