This place has a fantastic view, lovely cakes and the best hot chocolate that I've ever tasted. A really good place for breakfast if you're in the area.

The cafe is the best place to watch sunrise. Must get the omelette!! The best I ever had. Coffee was average.

We came here toward the end of the day and just wanted a coffee and a snack. The selection on offer was good and the restaurant menu read exceptionally well. There is plenty of seating both inside and out, with the outside seats offering good views. The staff are also really helpful.

The Cafe is modern with glass walls overlooking the grasslands and mountains. And you can get some great ice cream bars. There is a beautiful art gallery/boutique next to the cafe that carries quality art made in the area. Also, this is where the trail that leads around Lake Matheson begins, so is worth spending a whole day.

What a lovely place. A very trendy interior with a great view out to the mountains through huge windows and a Lovely outdoor area. You can buy wine by the glass. My husband really enjoyed his lamb burger and I had a very nice veggie Filo. Great service.

After a very disappointing meal our first night in Fox Glacier, a couple recommended the Matheson Cafe. I had lamb and my wife fish, both meals were delightful.
