Located in a former bank building, Freestone's serves up delicious fare in a casually elegant atmosphere. The service was crisp and friendly, the prices reasonable and the grub was outstanding. Can't imagine a better choice in downtown New Bedford More

The veggies appeared to have been cut by hand and were done just right not mushy. My fiance also loved his plate, he ordered the tuna, it had to be very fresh since it... More

Freestones has been around for a while and while kind of a tourist trap you can get a decent lunch, but overall it's overpriced. The atmosphere is great but the bar small, try the Syrian nachos for an app, the best. More

Nice service, good and fresh scallops. Supposed to have the best fish chowder but we didn't have a chance to order it. More

If you're looking for a neighborhood pub with a friendly staff, good food, and familial atmosphere you have to look no further. Live music on select nights, large-screen TVs at the bar, and cozy seating at booths or tables fit your needs no matter time or event. More

Freestone's is a little small, but it's not far from the waterfront. They probably have one of the best burgers in town and their syrian nachos are really good. Great food. More
