You are right on the beach and the sunsets are great. The food is great. I love the sushi rolls and the Asian ribs the best. The fish trio is great also. U get three kinds of fish with three different sauces. This restaurant is a must when you are in Maui.

Sat at the restaurant during the lunch/breakfast hours....the cocktails were good, the big breakfast was just that big, could of used some seasoning and the russet potatoes used as breakfast potatoes were not to my liking....the calamari was extremely good and I also had the lobster BLT...for $21 i wasnt very impressed, minimal seasonings on the sandwich but the house... Pciked this restaurant for a late night dinner that was close to our condo. Got seated right away. Waiter was pleasant but seemed to be new and a little nervous. Was not that impressed with the offerings. Dinner was average, little pricey. Won't rush back.

We ate here last year for both happy hour and sunset dinner. This year we couldn't wait to get back and have the coconut shrimp again. What a disappointment with the shrimp. The presentation was very much lacking, 4 shrimp thrown on a plate. I didn't even want to take a picture of it, and usually we take pictures of... More

We walked south on a trail from Kam III Beach and it led us to 5 Palms right at Happy Hour. It was a warm day and their mai tai was delicious and hit the spot. Also ordered some coconut shrimp and it was delicious. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and service was very... More

We are staying at Mana Kai for the week and had dinner at Five Palms last night. If you go try for a seat on the outside area, ocean side, smashing view ! Service was very good and the entrees were well prepared and presented. My wife enjoyed her filet, my fish was slightly over cooked but sauced perfectly. They... More

Always enjoy this restaurant. they're known for a great sushi happy hour, but I prefer dinner on the terrace with an amazing ocean view. I couldn't resist the special steak deal with the 'smashed potatoes', though I recommended to my friend that she try the triple fish entree - they offer an delicious dinner where you receive all three of... We went here for lunch our first day in Maui. You can't beat the view. The landscaping around it is beautiful and the ocean is RIGHT THERE. We actually sat inside, but with all the very large windows being open, it was just like eating outside with a nice breeze going and little birds coming to visit every once in... More

We really enjoyed the Sunset fixed price dinner at 5 Palms. For $35 you get a salad, choice from three entrees, and dessert. Since Happy Hour lasts until 6pm, you can also enjoy a drink from the Happy Hour menu.

I had the lobster blt amazing! I wish I was still in maui to have more. We missed the happy hour but arrived for lunch one day with a beautiful view of the ocean while we ate. We stayed at the hale kamaole condos down the road and were in walking distance of the restaurant .
