Don't miss their alligator/shrimp sauage cheesecake - and their Delta Road (blackened red fish) was to die for as was the bread pudding. All locals recommend and rightfully so.

My family and I went back to Roux 61 from having a pleasant experience a couple of nights before having a business dinner; however lastnight was a complete disaster. We both ordered Rib Eye's when brought to the table, my order was on my wife's plate and her order was on my plate and then we noticed that it was...

Food was good... we all had po-boys except one person had the crab cakes. Po-boys were good, overflowing with good shrimp and oysters.... the crab cake was no so good. Crab cake was more breading than crab and overly seasoned. Atmosphere and service were good.... we'll go back again!

My boyfriend and I were traveling from Baton Rouge and lucked up and found this place. We had to wait but didn't mind. The alligator bites were delicious as well as our main meals.
We look forward to returning and making this place a frequent stop for us. Very satisfied with the service and food.
