Chicken salad was great. We had the traditional but other options sounded good too. Lots of sandwich choices and some hot food and pizza. Very friendly staff who seemed to know almost everyone who came in . Obviously a neighborhood staple. I'd go back. Try the ambrosia. Yummy! More

The Uptown offers "gourmet" packaged foods, a deli, and a variety of onsite prepared microwavable casseroles. I was looking for basic fixin's for a carpet picnic (bread, fruit, cheese) and found them, but with more difficulty than I expected. More

The chicken salad was fantastic--and on the best rye bread (my choice)!! Easy to "take-out" or eat in. More

The Rueben that I had was good but small for the price. My wife's Chicken salad was the same. The worst part was the extemely slow service. We joked the they had to catch the chicken before they made the salad. The ambience was not waht I expected either. More

Saw this place in the AAA tour guide, so decided to go there for lunch. I ordered a reuben sandwich and soup of the day, my wife ordered a half of an egg salad sandwich. No prices were posted but when the girl said 24 something we were quite surprised. Now my sandwich and soup were pretty good I must... More

Tasted ok, for what you spend you get very little and staff was disinterested in you and your order. They will ask if you want sides with your order, but they wont tell you that they are extra. More

service was quick & sandwich good. Not many tables but the workers were very pleasent and they had a little store there to purchase some local items. More

We had lunch at the Uptown Deli on the recommendation of the staff at Monmouth Plantation. Wonderful local deli with a varied menu of pizza, sandwiches, and daily specials. You can tell the locals like it.......almost everyone knew each other! More

I've just left my favorite local deli, having devoured a crispy BLT on wheat berry, and a side of fruit. Yum! It's hard to pass on the traditional hot Reuben on rye and the other sides, or the daily special, but there's always this evening. Don't miss taking home the speciality items like cheeses, chips and crackers, homemade jellies and... More

This is a great spot for a quick and easy lunch if you want to avoid the tourist trips. Nice people and a nice little deli that got the thumbs up from us. More
