I got the tamales from here and they are absolutely fabulous. My fiance got the philly and it was delish too. You won't be disappointed. More

We don't eat tamales but the cheese dip was great. We also had nachos that were good. They have a very nice outdoor seating area. More

Best Margaritas ever! Hands down!! Do yourself a favor and buy several bottles of the mix to take home with you! And be sure to try the tamales and fire-and-ice pickles while you are there! The shirts are pretty cute too, and come in a ton of colors! I never miss a trip to Fat Mama's when I'm in Natchez! More

We rode from Natchitoches with our motorcycle group for lunch and had a great lunch , cold beer and just a good time. Very bright and colorful with good service and good food. Fat Mama's handled our group well. When in Natchez would definitely go back. More

This is a favorite everytime we visit Natchez. The food is great and its a comfortable place to rest and get a cool beverage after a day of visiting antebellum homes and antique shops. More

As far as Natchez is concerned, this place was bustling on Saturday afternoon. It seems that this is your best bet in town as far as hours go - lots of things were closed on the weekend but this place always seemed to be open. We sat outside, which was a nice big patio area with shade & sunny areas.... More

I've been eating tamales most of my life and these were the greasest ones I've ever had. The flavor was good and a fairly good value but I couldn't finish them for the grease. Also, for the "best" margaritas in town, I wouldn't brag about that either. If this is the best, I hate to taste the worse. More

The food is fun and inexpensive. It has a nice outdoor covered deck. The frozen margaritas are cold and good. Tap beers are cheap. The six tamales for less than $5 are more than filling. This was a great find. There aren't many restaurants open on Sunday evenings, and Mama's is open till 7:00. We like to have a good... More

We stopped in for lunch last year on the way to Florida. While we were there, there was a huge rainstorm, and the electricty went out for about half an hour. The bar kept serving (cash only of course) and we enjoyed the strongest margaritas I've ever had, awesome tamales, and made some new Cajun friends. The staff is very... More
