We visited The Hidden Hut after seeing it on Caroline Quentins programme on Cornwall. We really loved the venue & the food. Could have eaten anything on the lunch time menu. The staff were very friendly & made us welcome. The only downside is we live in Surrey

I, like many others, had seen the hut on caroline's tv show, so, on our next visit to cornwall (last week) decided to pay it a visit... parked up in the top carpark as didn't want to block the road up near the hut, that was £2, we were staying in mullion, so went over on the king harry ferry... Finally visited the Hidden Hut after being recommended by friends. After a glorious cliff walk in the warm spring sunshine, found its location overlooking Porthcurnick Beach but was disappointed that our vegetarian visitor could only have soup for his lunch. Not even a veggie pasty was available to him. My own food was super and the actual setup is a... More

2 huge bench tables great for meeting people or hanging out. The view is just the beach and the rolling waves. Delicious locally made cakes and pasties - I wasn't there at lunch time. Good filter coffee. Great staff. And just far enough away from it all - about 1/2 mile.

Wonderful food at this hidden gem! Thoroughly enjoyed the home made soup, excellent pasties and cakes despite eating them in a gale! Will be back.

Been to the HH several times including the wonderful New Years' Day event this year. Heading down for the Goan Fish Curry night later this month. Not many things I do a 400 mile round trip for. Everything about this operation is fantastic, based fundamentally on a love of food and wanting to share it with other people without charging... More

Me and my partner took a trip to the Hidden Hut after seeing it on the show presented by Caroline Quentin. It did not fail to impress. Friendly staff, simple menu, but effective. And the best view to enjoy whilst slurping at your hot chocolate and cream - my personal favourite! The homemade cakes were delicious afterwards too, plus is... More

We against visited THH on Soup Sunday. We were greeted with a sunny smile and Devine aromas. The children had pasties and we had parsnip and cox apple soup all washed down with a delicious cup of lovely hot chocolate. Despite the freezing wind we enjoyed our alfresco feast and urge anyone passing to pay them a visit. Best Hut... More

I have been following The Hidden Hut on Facebook for sometime and always promised myself a visit. So, when New Year's Day 2013 promised to be fairly sunny...my mind was made up! My sister and I drove the 72 miles with our expectations running high and we weren't disappointed. Stunning location and lovely food - tender braised venison and a... More
