first of all, their ice cream is delicious. This is a very popular place with the locals. The food portions are large. a snack bar with a good menu selection.
Good Food, Service and a great location I always stop when in I am in the area. I feel you cant go go wrong.
You won't be disappointed with the food and service at White Cotttage. Try a stir fry. Awesome dish. Ask for Asia at the window!!
Getting a table at a restaurant in beautiful Woodstock, Vermont, especially in the fall foliage season, can be tough. And if you can, the food is often unremarkable. Good selection of snack bar food. Nice to sit outside by river. Fried platters looked very good, but we had stopped only for an ice cream cone. Late in season so selection of favors was not as extensive as it was earlier in summer.

It took us ten minutes to decide. GF got the burger and fries, I got chicken fingers w/fries too. The...

We had the large platter of fried clams and were in heaven, that's how good they were. Crispy, light, juicy, grease free (because they fried them at exactly the right temp.) delicious whole clams and not a bad one in the bunch. Super fresh like they were just shucked. The place was clean, service super friendly, and we ate overlooking...
