Everything about our meal was perfect, from the pickled ramp that garnished our stuffed chicken breast to the creative use of parsnips in the panna cotta dessert (who knew parsnips could go with chocolate sorbet?) The service was a little off...it took forever to get our check...but no big deal. As someone who usually agonizes over what to order, I... More

We live in Vermont. Vermont has some of the finest locally-sourced artisan food in the Nation, and we do our best to sample as much as possible. That being said, the meal that we recently had at Cloudland farm stands out among all the rest. Everything that is served is either raised at Cloudland farm, or is sourced from a... More

I learned of this restaurant on the Trip Advisor website. My wife and I were looking for a facility to hold a rehearsal dinner gathering. Fortunately the wedding was on Friday, and so the Thursday rehearsal dinner fell in line with the Thursday-Saturday open days. We booked Cloudland for a party of 30 people in mid April. We had hors... More

You may have read my earlier review of Cloudland from our first visit...burger night. We liked it so much we went back two nights later for another terrific meal served by the delightful wait staff led by the farm owner's wife Kathy. Cloudland is about five miles north of Woodstock, out a very rural and beautiful stretch of land. A... More

Our company chose Cloudland for our Christmas gathering. The building is fabulous but Pot roast and mashed potatoes are just that no matter what you call them on the menu.

What a treat. Dinner at Cloudland Farm was a unique experience. The food was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere was unique and wonderful. If you find yourself in Woodstock, don't miss having a meal here.

Cloudland Farm is the jewel of Woodstock dining. From the gorgeous post and beam barn to the massive fireplace to the sustainable practices to the food. This place has it all and is worth the drive outside of town. My fiance and I had gilfeather soup, herb encrusted tenderloin, and an apple/almond tart. We paired it with a Malbec/Cab red... More

There is much to love about this place. The first being that I had found out that before the current owner, Joe Perry, guitarist for Aerosmith supposedly owned it. Be that as it may, this farm was one hell of an experience and I would go back in a flash. Expect to drive down a dirt road for 3.5 miles... More

Be sure to make a reservation and be prepared to eat the most fabulous meal in a quintessential New England farmhouse. It is off the beaten path and well worth the adventure. The food is all grown right on their farm or locally. And the Maple Soda is amazing - not too sweet and so refreshing.

The drive alone is worth a visit. This place is only a few minutes drive from downtown Woodstock Village. All meals are locally sourced and really good. Probably not the first choice for a vegetarian but all others will be very happy.
