This place is a real treat if you like quality in simplicity. It's all the small things, done well. We were after some Malta 'ftira' for lunch - and we got more than we could have hoped for. Carlo is a gentleman and delightful host. He looked after all with such a comfortable and friendly manner, it was such a...

We were searching for a nice wine bar to taste the local wine and some local specialties. And we found this nice small place offering exactly what we wanted. It was small but full of atmosphere. We tried the Maltese platter containing two different kinds of goat cheese, pickled white beans, olives, sausage, bean paste and cracker. This was accompanied...

This is the only restaurant we have returned to in Malta. The other restaurants were good however the food at the Capuvino was outstanding. The owner has a great understanding of food and wine. We cannot recommend this place enough. No surprise that other diners were also repeat customers. Need any reason to return to Malta? Perhaps a meal in...

We stayed in Bugibba and it is very difficult to find a restaurant where you can find food who is gluten- ans lactose free, we found C.apuvino a restaurant with a very good restaurant owner, with a lot of passion of his profession, he makes his food from fresh vegetables, he is very hospitable. A real winner.

Carlo is always very welcoming whether you are just calling in for a coffee or dinner. We
found Capuvino when we were exploring the back street of Bugibba in 2010 and have been visiting regularly ever since.

At first glance it looks like a cafe so you would expect simple food and thats about it. You would be mistaken, whether you have the stunning maltese bread with an array of toppings or you decide to go in the evening and experience one of the set menus the food is unquestionably superb. The service is fantastic and the...

My expectations were probably too high. I had soup of the day, which was OK. I also had cannellonis. They were very basic. I was expecting a it more flavor and fullness. It was pretty bland. The place itself is cozy and the couple running the place seem very nice.
They have free open wifi.
