I am disappointed that the woodhut is only ranked 15th I would have hoped that it would have been further up the ratings. We have been going to Malta for thirty years and I know the quality of some of the resturants. We have known Ray for a number of years now we always get a warm welcome from him... More

Love this family run taverna. We wanted full english- Ray makes it (and very well too, with toast and tea). We wanted a pleasant evening meal - we got the most delicious pizzas and pastas. I had the pasta with salmon, caviar and vodka - delicious - and the portion sizes are huge. We wanted a snack - we got... More

There's a nice atmosphere in here. We ordered a pizza each and were not disappointed. The toppings and base were delicious. Great service - genuinely interested if we'd enjoyed our meal (which we certainly had!). We'd definitely eat here again.

A small taverna, but the food is excellent and good value. A family run business, with a friendly welcome. Have been visiting for the past 3 years. Always make a bee line to this restaurant. If you are a sports fan, then you can also watch the latest event on the big screens.

We had not been to the Wood Hut for a few years but as soon as Ray, the owner, seen and greeted me it was as if i had never been away. This sums up this exceptional place. Once you have been a customer you are never forgotten. The pub/diner is very much a family affair. At busy times Ray... More
