Everything from the moment we walked in was beyond expectations. The food was presented beautifully, tasted sublime and was served by a friendly and attentive waitstaff. The hungered carrot soup for the amuse bouche set the bar from the beginning and the rest of the meal didn't disappoint! More

Salts is a smaller one room restaurant with high ceilings. The atmosphere is on the more elegant side as are the prices. The amouse bouche from the chef was a delicious butternut squash soup (a nice surprise). The favorite dish of our group was the hamachi salt cured crudo appetizer special. It was served with crunchy horseradish and what I... More

Good. Good. Good. Everything was tasty and beautifully presented. The menu is not extensive, but is well thought out with a nice variety of selections. An assortment of salts (red, black, gray...) accompany the meal and we were amazed that each one tasted so different and had such an effect on the dishes we tried. My fish dish was *perfectly*... First, I must declare the dinner was on a special night and it was a Chef's tasting menu specially prepared for 2 couples. That aside, the food was similar or identical to several menu items, and the wines picked by the chef to go along the different dishes were also from the menu. The restaurant is small but warm and... I confess I am reluctant to add my review since this place is small and seating limited. I don't want any more competition for a table than there already is. But truth is truth . . . this place deserves all the rave reviews. I travel a lot and eat in a lot of restaurants around the world. I confess... More

Free parking - lovely decor - fantastic service. Those three were a mere prelude to the execution of a fine meal. A complimentary celery root soup with vanilla oil and tidbits of quince and apple whet the appetite. The pan seared bay scallops and foie gras with baby vegetables and purees were succulent. Sturgeon and gnocchi and chicken ballotine were... More

The restaurant is very unassuming from the outside. Once you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff, low level lighting and mellow music. It's romantic and unpretentious. And the food, just delicious. We started with pear & mache salad & got a bottle of Curran Grenache Blanc. The chef sent over a nice melon soup with peanuts. For dinner... More

Cambridge is lucky to be a foodie paradise, with a wider array of top quality dining options than many cities its size, and plenty of competition to keep good chefs on their toes. Salts earns a place near the top of the heap in town, with delicious food that is inventive, meticulously prepared, and visually stunning, but not over the... More

We weren't rushed, and that was the best part. We had our table for as long as we wanted, so we could digest a bit between meals and really enjoy each course and our wine. Across the street from Craigie, this place is equally as delicious, and a bit more intimate; great for special occasions and nights out with close... More

The food was very good. Some of the combinations seemed a little strange, but they did work. The menu was quite limited as was the wine list. Service was excellent in spite of two largish parties that pretty much filled the narrow room. More
