We had four small plates, including duck, aspargus and a wonderful cold pea soup in this small and popular restaurant. The tables are a bit close and one could hear every word from the next table. Service was attentive and gracious

We had several half-portion dishes, all of them fantastic. Excellent food, super amiable servers, nice ambiance; will come back for sure!

Opening to universal, almost ungodly acclaim in November, 2011, Bondir undoubtedly comes with lofty dining expectations. Thankfully, chef/owner Jason Bond’s (formerly executive chef at Beacon Hill Bistro) little (and by little, I mean roughly 25 seats) gem of a French-inspired restaurant not only met, but exceeded my expectations. His cooking technique, execution, and passion for local, seasonal, and sustainable fare...

The staff is so impressed with themselves that they seem to have forgotten the customers! Food was creative but maybe overly so. The wait staff seemed pleased to have to explain how creative the chef could be. Desserts are excellent as was the wine selection. But we expected to be impressed with the dinner and we were not. Disappointing.

This is a restaurant that had received rave reviews.
There is nothing, I can complain about it. However there is nothing that made it a memorable meal.
The service was very good, but I see no reason to go back

Jason Bond is a genius! His food is superb, and the atmosphere is fun! Super small space, so they fill up quickly.reservations are a must, but run , don't walk to to Bondir.

Bondir's cooking is a combination of the traditional and the innovative. One can order half-portions of main dishes to sample a wider range of the chef's many talents. I started with a bisque, which was underwhelming, slightly glutinous in its thickening and tending to conceal rather than accentuate its flavors. The next dish, duck breast, was beautifully presented. The breast...

Small, comfortable, one chef's vision and what a vision. Time and again he comes through and the support staff and Monica are superb. I almost don't want to share it, but I want to be there for us ever so much.
We took a very discerning friend and there was no question we were not imaging it all. Go have...

This was our first time to Bondir. We had read that they were selected as one of the top 10 new restaurants in US by Bon Appetit so had high expectations. This is a gem of a restaurant. Tucked away in a quiet part of Cambridge with an unassuming storefront Bondir delivers on its promise. The menu changes daily and...
