My wife had been checking this place out for a while and wanted to go here on her birthday. So we went. We parked on a side street for free because we arrived after 6pm. We started with a parsnip soup and cow tongue on bread. These were both very delicious! I got braised lamb for my main course, my... More

Delicious, creative cuisine that can also serve as gourmet comfort food. Friendly hostess and our waiter was helpful in recommending plates. We shared the "Duck duck duck" with a fourth duck (duck prepared 4 ways). Some of the options pushed the limit of what I was comfortable eating, but the quality and presentation makes for the perfect opportunity for adventure. More

This place rocks. Small intimate rooms with great food and service. Had grits for the first time with bacon and cheese - holy moly were they delicious. Everything we ate was incredible - will totally come here again. More

Great experience- the restaurant is designed in a very personal, charming way and is a series of small rooms, so not loud and very intimate. Service was great. The food was very good- had pompano with some kind of slaw. Really unique flavors and the fish was perfectly cooked. I was willing to suffer through the fact that it was... More

I visited this place in january for a long week end getaway with a friend of mine. the place was suggested by a local and we are totally astonished with it. The food was amazing, but most important of all, the drinks were awesome! the bartender, a young blond lady, very pleasant and gentle, served us 3 cocktails created by... More

We were incredibly excited about this restaurant but came away a bit disappointed. The food is just a bit precious. Too many fancy ingredients, portions not worth the name. They kind of ruin the cuisine by putting this much thought into it. Must say that the ambience and drinks are great, and the prices are reasonable. More

The food and service were awesome! Loved the boiled peanuts and beef tongue starters. The catfish main course is also excellent. More

Cambridge, Mass. is not the first place I would think of for Southern food, but this restaurant makes it work, using Southern-inspired recipes plus some local ingredients. Of all the dishes we tried, the parsnip soup was the most delicious, but everything was very good to excellent. The service was fine and the atmosphere cozy. Unlike nearby restaurants, which are... I just love this place. I love the informal atmosphere and the care they give to everything from drinks to desserts. We went for their special Xmas Eve dinner and it was great. We had a charming waiter (not always the case there). Started off with yummy deviled eggs and 3 kinds of pickles. My dish sounds so boring --... More
