In my quest to have seafood for every dinner while on vacation in Seattle, we made it a few steps from our hotel down to Nijo. The building was beautiful and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. The waitress was very pleasant. I had the "chef's roll" and sashimi combo. Everything was very good, although not necessarily better than what... More

My husband and I visited here one Saturday night. There was no tables available so we were offered seats at the bar which was good for us because we could see the sushi chef creativity and artistry while preparing the many yummy rolls. We had a really good milky sake which the waitress recommended. The wait staff were phenomenal. Even... More

In a town where the salmon is fresh and flavorful why would you present salmon sashimi or salmon "remnants" and leftovers? It is not a question of money, value. Surely it's about pride, respect for your customers and reputation. I have never returned sushi but I had to. It was a matter of integrity. They took the cost off the... More

The location is slightly off the beaten path and the sushi is out if this world, I loved the Alaskan Roll, the Unagi was delicious.

I have worked in the hotel industry here in Seattle for over 30 years and everytime I think about great sushi for either myself, friends or our guests (at Silver Cloud Stadium Hotel)the only place I suggest is Nijo. Absolutley excellent and at an affordable price. Yes, the restaurant can be a bit noisey on the weekends especially before or... More

Great sushi and excellent service by Yoko at Nijo in Seattle. Tried the restaurant on the recommendation of the hotel concierge and boy, was she spot on!! Definitely worth returning to next visit to the Emerald City. Happy hour prices made this Saturday night family dinner for four completely affordable and filling!! Highly recommend!

We kind of just found this place walking from our hotel (Alexis). Service is great and prompt. The food is fresh and well presented. Only thing I didn't care for was the spinach gomae was heavy in the sauce. Excellent beer/wine/sake selection.

Although there is a variety of Japanese cuisine, Nijo is essentially a place for happy hour, lots of drinks, sushi and lots of noise. The servers try very hard to present a nice meal, but the way the restaurant is set up and I suppose the purpose of the restaurant, makes for a crowded and noisy evening. Prices are very... More

We had dined here last year and it was wonderful. I'm very happy to say it is still yummie. Very fresh sashimi and sushi. We had great service and the food arrived in a very timely fashion. The chef prepared my odd ball requests using quail egg and uni. Turned out perfect. Will be back on our next trip.
