Ate dinner here based on recommendation from a shopkeeper. There was a long wait, so we ate in the bar. Beer & oyster sampler was a good start; loved the seared scallops over braised short ribs. Salmon was good, too. Not an inexpensive place, but worth it.

When we visit Seattle we always plan on a happy hour at the Brooklyn. Get there early, as happy hour is confined to the bar area. Excellent choice of oysters, calamari, and other small plates to go with their great wine selection.

We visit this restaurant each time we are in Seattle (at least 3 times a year). Love the PEI Mussels for a starter. Haven't had a bad meal ever. Portions are huge - so it's always good to share, so you can enjoy dessert - Key Lime Pie is a must! We always sit at the Chef's Table which surrounds...

This place was recommended by the hotel personnel. We decided to go there for Happy Hour (starts at 4pm). Based on suggestion from our waitress we started with oysters followed by mussels and crab cakes accompanied by amber Pilsner and Pale Ale. everything was very fresh and tasty. After 5pm we ordered the chowder and fish. The chowder... It's a dream...

This place is pretty consistent in their menu, and you can depend on them for a great lunch or dinner. Right next door to the Benaroya Hall.. So you can get a dinner before or after the Symphony... Can't go wrong

This restaurant is always very consistent (although they sometimes change "favorites" to something not as good as the original.) It is a wonderful spot to have lunch after the symphony or a visit to the Seattle Art Museum. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and they are quick to replace anything with which you are not pleased. The decor...

I found out about this restaurant from a local, and she recommended this restaurant highly.
It's nicely located in downtown near the public market, and the interior is classy but welcoming. The staff are nice, patient, and helpful. They are ready to help with suggestions if you can't make up your mind with the menu.
The foods that we ordered...

This is the second time we have eaten lunch at Brooklyn. (We visit Seattle occasionally from California.) Excellent fresh salmon , cooked perfectly, with a translucent center but no scary raw flesh! I'm not a sushi fan. Well-made and generous bar drinks. Service is very friendly and very competent. The restaurant is across the street from the excellent Seattle Art...

We sat at the chef's table and had an excellent meal. The chef on duty was attentive, easy to talk to and both he and our server provided excellent recommendations for both wine and food. If the scallops are on the menu, try them. They are amazing- as is their award winning clam chowder.
