Oaxaca is our favorite 'at least once a month' eat out place. We love their authentic food, drinks and ambiance. Do expect this place to be a bit crowded on weekends and prepare yourself for some waiting time (it is totally worth it though!) They opened a Queen Anne location as well that is equally good (and at times can... More

Everything I have ever eaten here was great. I do think the portions are a little small though. More

i've lived in oaxaca, the region in mexico famous for its mole (a sauce). this place is as authentic as it gets. located in a small space, this spot is hopping every night of the week. be prepared for a wait to get in. but, it's totally worth it. salsa bar is fun, great margaritas, good service. In Oaxaca, I ate Mole every day, as many times a day as my host would allow. The food at La Carta de Oaxaca is very good - pretty close to the best you can get in Mexico. My only advice, kick up the spice a notch. I highly recommend the restaurant as much for its location as its food.... More

This place has more than your standard "tacos and burritos." The variety of Mexican cuisine best than most places. Ingredients make for an authentic taste and presentation is fine. More

We just love this place. The food is authentic, very fresh and consistent. The challenge is that during their peak hours you will have to wait and the seating can feel very crowded with a high noise level when it is full, which it is most of the time. Best change to get in right away is after they open. More

Great authentic mexican food. The food brought back memories from home for my wife and I. We had the pozole, tacos and mole and loved them all. I would especially recommend the mole dish and encourage everyone to try out the salsas at the salsa bar that go great with the chips and guacamole. Pros: - Great service - Family... More

A little more crowded and busy than I sometimes want to face at the end of a day, but very good chow! Try the Posole, it's a red broth and is fantastic! Big menu, requires review! Always something fun and new to try. Far from being tired and over tried! More
