In Oaxaca, I ate Mole every day, as many times a day as my host would allow. The food at La Carta de Oaxaca is very good - pretty close to the best you can get in Mexico. My only advice, kick up the spice a notch. I highly recommend the restaurant as much for its location as its food.... More

We just love this place.The food is authentic, very fresh and consistent. The challenge is that during their peak hours you will have to wait and the seating can feel very crowded with a high noise level when it is full, which it is most of the time.
