This is right in the downtown area - near the Andra Hotel - The staff is very friendly. The food is very good! I had a Caesar salad with anchovies, which was very good. Though for some it might have been a little "over dressed", for me, it was delightful. My eggplant "al forno", or "parmigiano", was very good! A... More

I hit up Assaggio's regularly. I've lived in Seattle now for 12 years and this remains my mainstay all time favorite Italian restaurant since the week I transplanted here. Mauro is the best restaurant owner you'll find in the city. A recommended restaurant for amazing food, solid service, great ambiance, and lovely people watching. The best! More

We stumbled on this place during a rainy weekend stay at the Westin..made reservations mid-afternoon Saturday for dinner at 8:30. We had to wait 30 minutes or so but it was worth it. Wonderful atmosphere, huge Italian wine selection, top notch food and service. We felt so comfortable here and I will go here every visit. More

I've eaten here for 11 years. The food is awesome. Try the Brodetto soup but it's all wonderful. More

A very pleasant room with a friendly welcome and good service. Of two meals, the scallop pasta was excellent and the sausage pasta just so-so. The mozzarella in the caprese salad was fine, but the tomatoes were pale pink and tasteless - not really acceptable when ripe tomatoes are available year-round. More

Some of the best Italian food by far in Seattle. I've been many times and the food is always good. It's a little pricey but worth it. Good wine and atmosphere, cozy-ish even though it's not too small, and not too fancy feeling. More

Have been here before and this time went back twice. Warm reception and friendly staff. We could eat our way through the amazing menu given time. Food is always served hot, beautifully presented and delicious. Servings are generous (especially the pasta dishes). The wine list is impressive, and we have splurged on old favourites that we first sipped on site... More
