Description: Step through the antique revolving doors of Tulio Ristorante and it's as if you've entered a bustling Italian trattoria in the heart of downtown Seattle. Chef Walter Pisano clearly puts his heart into this longstanding favorite, continuing to impress diners and critics alike. His boldly flavored dishes are both simple and sophisticated, combining rustic Italian preparations with fresh Pacific Northwest ingredients. Add to this our great location in downtown Seattle, our warm, intimate atmosphere and outstanding service and it's easy to understand why Tulio is widely regarded as one of the city's best restaurants.

All the Tripadvisor reviews are spot on. This is a very comfortable, class "A" restaurant with an excellent wine list and fabulous menu. I had a very simple but extremely tasty dinner, the Antipasti Misti and Orecchiette. The Antipasti was good, with tasty meets and cheese, while the Orecchiette, with its spicy sausage and fantastic homemade pasta was magnificent!! Growing... More

Enjoyed my Mother's Day brunch. They had a special menu (I think). I had the halibut with cous cous. It also had mandarin oranges, pistachios, pickled onions and mint. It was very good and perfect portion size for me. My husband had the waffle with fruit compote and pralines. It was good as well. The bacon was a little underdone... More

Top notch Italian- had the cream of aspargus soup special after server Nate said that it was hearty without being heavy with creme- spot on and best soup that I have had in long time. Orrecciate (sp?) with spicy sausage was first rate as was my clients's halibut special. It was a long week of business entertaining so I did... More

We enjoyed Tulio to the max & highly recommend. Ambience of Rome, NY's Little Italy... but in Seattle! Servers know their stuff, great wines. Don't miss this if you're into excellently prepared & presented upscale yet traditional Italian foods. If you're staying at the Vintage Park, hotel will make immediate resvs for guests, so look no further, stick with a... More

We enjoyed our dinner here, its a lingering experience and diners in a hurry should choose elsewhere. We listened intently to server recommendations for food and wine, both very satisfiying. Try the duck confit or an asparagus side to impress your taste buds, we loved the slow pace and made an evening of our dining experience, recomended you do the... More

Excellent food & wine! Very tight floor plan (not a big place). Professional service but a little slow. Definitely need a reservation. More

We had the veal cutlet and the linguine. Both were quite delicious! The bread was phenomenal and the service was friendly and knowledgable! The open kitchen gave the restaurant a cozy feel, and the decor made you forgot you were in seattle. Definitely stop in if you want good italian food in seattle! Limited menu and dishes were $20-40 a... More

Tired after three days of non-stop walking, we opted for dinner at the hotel restaurant. What a great surprise -- Tulio's does authentic Italian country cuisine. My husband ordered pork shank, seasoned with rosemary, and just falling off the bone. I had delicious roast chicken and kept finding little slices of garlic that had been lovingly placed between the skin... More

Always to an above average standard. Even though king salmon was in Pike Market it was not on the Tulio menu. Too bad! Superb service. More

We lucked out being here with fresh Alaskan halibut just coming onto the market - they prepared it beautifully, first grilling it and then baking it, so it had characteristics of both methods. Excellent service and a nice setting. More
