I am so glad we made the effort to finding this diner. Truly a jem!! I had heard about this place via Food Network's Eat Street so my friends and I were very interested in trying this Bacon Jam. It did not dissapoint. I would highly recommend the Adult milkshakes - you can't just have one. I had ordered the... More

Skillet Diner encapsulates the hipster ethos of dining well at whatever cost to your arteries. This is a nihilistic, hedonistic paradise of comfort food for those brazen enough to eat their own body weight and smile afterwards. The decor is what you would hope for: a little quirky yet sparse. Ride your fixed gear bike but leave your skinny jeans... More

Try the grilled cheese with bacon jam, or order the mac&cheese with cauliflower and hazelnut crust and you won't be disappointed. Great homestyle food with a creative modern twist. More

I love the menu here. It's a good mix of traditional dishes - most with a creative twist or two. I dined alone, sitting at the counter, and was very comfortable doing so. I ordered "the ultimate grilled cheese". It's prepared on brioche toast and I added bacon jam. The generous pile of fries was perfectly greasy. I'll be back... More

We read about this from a search of DDD, Urban Spoon or the likes, and decided to give it a try. We arrived on a Sunday at around 2:30 and found only a half-hour wait, which sounds like that is pretty good at this place. We started with the restaurant's version of a Bloody Mary and it was to die... More

Went for breakfast and ended up having lunch. If you've never been, be patient and wait. We were visiting Seattle so no choice as to when to go. Service was good, food was okay. We had their pork belly/waffle and the little rob. Both entrees were tasty but not sure if we'd go back for them. We would go back... More

In Seattle for a weekend and decided to try Skillet Diner (shown on Triple D!). Google map indicated a 30 min walk from our downtown hotel but drive instead. We're walkers and 90 min later, we still hadn't found the restaurant! The drive took less than 10 minutes. The hostess said it would be a 25 min wait but it... More

Really excellent food here! Creative and beautifully presented. I never thought I could like a diner, let alone love one, but Skillet changed my mind. More

One word! POUTIN!!!! Fries covered in gravy and cheese! Oh my goodness. So freakin' delicious! I wish I could have it everyday 5 times a day! The hubby and I only had to wait like 10 minutes before we got counter seating, which I loved since we were able to watch every single dish that came out of the kitchen... More
