Ambience is nice, but you can't eat ambience. Pretension, thy name is Copperleaf ! Huge plates nearly empty must be the in thing around here. Food is very good but if you're hungry you are definitely at the wrong place. The words "you've got to be kidding" entered my mind more than once. In fact, I was served an entree... More

This was the last dinner of our two-week US West Coast holiday. It was very good, but we had been to better restaurants and so I am not rating it as Excellent. The ambience was great - Cedarbrook Lodge is a lovely hotel. Make sure you make reservations as they seem to be always full. We ordered the gnocchi, rabbit... More

The Copperleaf is an intimate restaurant located within the Cedarbook Lodge. Its menu reflects tremendous imagination, and does its best to source food from within a 100 mile radius (that includes a herb garden on the grounds of the Lodge). The food is exquisitely prepared and bursts with flavor, no matter whether it is a starter, a main or a... More

I Love to try new things, but didn't see anything I wanted to eat on the main menu. I thought the wines were too expensive. I did order from the bar menu and had ribs. They were apparently rolled in bread crumbs and then glazed so they were quite crunchy. Still, they had an odd flavor. My husband had a... More

The enthusiastic server gave us lots of good recommendations and sold us! We especially enjoyed the fries (fried in duck fat!) and Black Plum Ribblettes. We ate in the lounge, as we arrived pretty late after a wedding, but enjoyed our food immensely! More

The food here was very good and I loved the support of local farmers. The service was not bad. This restaurant is quite small, not very many tables so reservations are probably necessary. It is not a typical location for a restaurant, the room is below the lobby down the stairs (there is an elevator if needed) half a sitting... More

This is one of those farm to table restaurants that the area is famous for. The food is really good......but the menu is limited. More

First of all, thank you Jules for great service. Second, thank you, Chef, for a great meal. As a compliment, I say there was no need for any other elements for the heavenly foie gras. But, OK, I guess it was nice of you to add a sauce and some other items for us to forget and only to remember... More

It appears that Frank Lloyd Wright inspired the Cedarbrook Lodge and its Copperleaf Restaurant. Our ample crab cakes were served in a professional manner in this woodsy-elegant setting. More
