We had the pulled port sandwiches and the smoked corn on the cob and both were delicious!!! Cute venue, too, in a rail car.

Daily "gourmet" specials. Unique setting (in the train car). Excellent food. But because the tables are few, you might have to wait a while during the busy season.

We wrapped up our visit to Seward with a delicious, tummy filling breakfast at the Smoke Shack. The server was wonderful, the food so good it is worth driving to Seward just to eat again, and the jalapeño ketchup is not to be missed!

Let's face it. Dining in Seward is mediocre and overpriced. BUT The Smoke Shack is delicious. Try the snow crab Benedict (and grits!) for breakfast and the pulled pork, ribs, or railcar burger for lunch. Delicious. Only downside is that there are only 6 tables (crowded during the season) and you leave smelling like food. My favorite restaurant in Seward,...

The Smoke Shack is within walking distance to the cruise port at Seward, that was its main redeeming characteristic. If your close to starvation and are prepared to shell out big bucks for mediocre food, this place may be for you. There is a nice outdoor eating area with a good view of the port, but then you don't have...

Located in the North-West corner of the harbor near the train depot, the smoke shack offers great comfort food. Small and cozy on the inside, it is a favorite among locals for breakfast and lunch.

The Smoke Shack was a happy surprise for us. First of all, our guys all like trains, so the restaurant located in a train car was fun. It's part of a group of shops all located in train cars. You can either eat inside (only a handful of booths) or outside on picnic tables. The day we went was sunny...

Don't get put off by its looks. The food is phenomenal. I loved the chicken burrito while my son and huband preferred the pork sandwitches. Friendly and efficient service. Extremely reasonable. You can even take out.

We were looking for a place for some lunch one day while on vacation. The hotel suggested SMOKE SHACK and described it as the train down the road. From the outside, the blue trains remind you of the toys you played with as a child - hooking them up on the tracks so they would go round and round. We...

They were wrapping up for the season but the smoked turkey burgers were fabulous. I didn't expect to finish mine as portions were huge but I couldn't leave this meat alone. The staff were friendly with the owner and his partner willing to talk about their business, and their process. I liked the funky little diner in a former railcar....
