Ate here twice, nice menu, had a chicken salad and soup on both occasions and was very pleased. Our server Adam was attentive and pleasant, a gentleman for sure. Would recommend.... More

One of our favorites in Custer, great tasting food, good prices, good service, always a lot of people inside eating...that tells you something right there. We ate here many times. More

It was pretty good a few years ago and has been sliding downhill - dont know why - its seems like its always For Sale and there isnt any real interest in keeping the place up - same goes for the taste of the food More

We were in town during the week on September 9-11 with friends. We first ate breakfast on Sat the 10th. The Hostess was very rude and downright mean. The Waitress was not much better. We blew it off thinking they were having a bad day. The following day, we returned for breakfast, and was greeted with a "how many." not... More

We enjoyed a family supper and breakfast at the Dakota Cowboy. This was by far the best food and friendly atmosphere we encountered on our vacation. More

My wife and I walked across the street from the Comfort Inn & Suites and had a very enjoyable meal. We had seen the previous reviews, including a diatribe about nachos! We ordered a diverse meal, chicken chimichanga for me and a prime rib for my wife. Both dishes were excellent and the service by our waiter, Travis, was superb.... More

The food at this place was gross. We order the nachos "appetizer" which didn't mention they were made with some dried out pulled chicken, hardly any cheese, no refried beans. They appeared to be something thrown together with the days leftovers. I definitely would not recommend this place for a family with children. Would never go to this place again. More

The food here was not horrible but was not great either. Our waiter forgot our salads and it seemed like it was his first night. The restaurant was just okay was not worth the prices. We would not return here to eat again. More

Positives: - Good food at a fair price - Better than average burritos and quesadillas - Friendly, prompt, helpful, competent server - Attractive decor Negatives: - Aloof manager; didn't want to be bothered If you've eaten at other places in the Black Hills, you may experience a bit of de ja vu when you walk into the Dakota Cowboy Inn...
