The pain perdu (stuffed french toast) was tasty but also flat and... More

This is a great little out-of-the way place. Great breakfast and lunch! I've been here more than once and I'm never disappointed! Great little neighborhood location with friendly service. I was told of this place by a local! More

Chicken satay appetizer is good. Shrimp curry was one of the specials and it was great. Easy to find but pretty small so it can be hard to... More

The Blue Plate Cafe is a charming restaurant close to downtown New Orleans. Easily accessible from I-10 or the streetcar. The food is delicious and the service it attentive. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and can recommend the Breakschetta and the Brie stuffed Pain Perdu (French Toast). The side breakfast salad is refreshing and unexpected, and marries perfectly with the... More
