Recommended by fellow NO Italians and worth the drive! Sicilian pistachio gelato was amazing. They fill the cannoli's to order with both a chocolate and traditional filling. Try a gelatocino - scoop of gelato with espresso!

Do everything within your power to get here while in NOLA. It is VERY deserving of its #1 rating. You've never tasted gelato until you've been here. The flavors are authentic, and more tasty and rich than any other ice cream I've ever eaten. Not watered down whatsoever. They also have pastries, the coconut macaroons were delightful. I would have...

My husband and I went out of our way ( on a pouring rain night) to go here after dinner based on reviews seen on tv show. We were not disappointed. We had pistachio gelato, creamy & tasty as it should be; also got a cream puff type pastry, very delish & fresh & the turnovers just looked k so...

The wait is well worth it! This hidden gem is away from all the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter. There is a variety of homemade gelato that is absolutely delicious. The chocolate dipped cannoli is a must try.
We went at about 9pm. It was nice that they were open later. I had a cream puff and rum raisin ice cream. It was good. It wasn't the best I have ever had. I enjoyed the decor but the bar and the Chinese restaurant next door kind of ruined it a bit. Oh and the off duty police officer...

It's a tradition to go to Bracato's for fig cookies and cannoli's in my family. Me and my siblings went there recently and got the gelato and holy cow the rum custard was delicious! My brother got that flavor and I totally hijacked it from him! I also tried the Black Forest cookie and that was delish! The staff was...

We took a pint of Italian Kiss gelato back to our hotel and it was great - took chocolate dipped cannoli's home and they were great 2 days later
I love this place. It is very much old New Orleans. The blood orange ice is fabulous. I am also partial to the cannolis. They make a small and large size, so you can have gelato and a small cannoli.
This is one of those fun places where everything looks way too delicious (and probably is). It is very difficult choosing what you want to eat. Our local New Orleans friend told us beforehand we were going here for dessert so we made sure to leave room for something sweet (not always easy when having some great Cajun cooking for...

I don't care how far you have to drive, walk, or taxi to get there but do not miss this authentic Italian bakery. My husband and I stay at a great B&B around the corner (1896 O'Malley House) and frequent the bakery for gelato almost every night of our stay. They are closed on Mondays so plan to get your...
