I found my visit to Pat O'Briens to be quite average, nothing spectacular. Food, drinks, service, atmosphere all average. I had been recommended by many to try Pat O'Briens, and I must say I was a bit disappointed, my experience was not quite what I had been expecting. More

Stopped here for hurricanes. I usually hate hitting of the must go tourist spots, but this place was fun. The giant patio is great and the hurricanes were strong as advertised. Would have liked to make it into the dueling piano bar, but the line was long. More

A first time visit to New Orleans is not complete unless you visit Pat O'Brien's for an original Hurricane. We opted for seats at the main bar and the bar tender was super ... with good conversation on where we were from and what our plans for the evening were. I am a Bloody Mary person - and their own... So we went to Patty's for beverages and it was nice and cool. The wait staf brought us our beverages and gave us some popcorn which Fannie, and AG gobbled up like chickens. Fannie will eat anything even if it falls on the dirty floor she has the 3 second rule which makes her a fool, Wha Wha What? AG... More

We had a blast at the Piano Bar but you can't order food, only drinks. We ate later in the outside courtyard and it was very good. I tried the local dish Crawfish Etouffee, Yum!! More

Definitely do NOT miss this!!! A fun and crazy place on Bourbon Street!! Start off w/ a Hurricane - the drink Pat O'Brien's is known for!! It's kinda like a fruit punch w/ a KICK!! Then try a Mint Julep - delicious!! Be aware that your drink WILL come in a glass souvenir glass unless you specifically tell them not... More

Pat O's is a great dueling piano bar. Always fun, especially if you like to sing along with a couple hundred of new friends. The best thing about O'briens is you can get a 12 oz. drink for $5.50 and it has plenty of alcohol to kick your butt! If you never had an O'briens Hurricane drink, you must, but... More

While Pat O' Brian's may serve food, most young people come here to gather in the courtyard and get drunk on Hurricanes. All the tourist info for the French Quarter boasts that O'Brian's Hurricane was voted "Best specialty cocktail in New Orleans." Don't believe it. Either the vote was taken after people were too drunk to know what they were... More

This restaurant had it all going right until dessert... The waiter was exceptional, the alligator bites starter delicious and the atmosphere happening. I ordered the bread pudding for dessert and it was very tasty until I found the black hair in the middle. The waiter was very apologetic and took the pudding off the bill but I sto had to... More

I have been going to Pat O's for partying in NOLA for years, but I have never been for lunch. (By the way, the world-famous Hurricanes are served at lunch also!) I got the shrimp and grits. The salad that went with it was good, and the shrimp and grits were unsurpassed--delicious! The others in my party got chicken wings,... More
