A must have whenever we're in NO. Good basic Mexican and Cuban food. Bar on premises. Entrees average $9. Ropa Vieja is their house dish. Very good. good food and large portions. Excellent service. More

The food was tasty and the service was good, not exceptional. Variety of food including latin and cajun cuisine. Reasonable prices. More

Not much on looks...but the food! Fresh, tasty, great prices. Empanada...yum! Don't forget to try the Maduros, a fried plantain treat. We have eaten in great little holes all over the world, this is a worthy stop. More

The beer is cold – have a Dixie. We’ve had steak, tacos, salad. All were flavorful and well prepared. No mistake, this... More

We went to the Country Flame on the advice of a local, and everyone should go. It isn't pretty, but the food is fresh, tastes great, the service is wonderful and the beer is cold. What more could you ask for?! More

Don't order the yellow rice. Now, this is not a fine dining restaurant, it resembles a lot of the mom n pop places you see around NYC (which I... More

As far as I am concerned, New Orleans is all about seafood, Creole and Southern cooking - that was before Country Flame. The place seems to be a dive. Then, came the food. Generous portions. Great prices. A must-visit after a late night of partying. More
