What you'd expect from a pub in the French Quarter A lot of screens for sports, good beer selection, and the musty/smoky smell you'd expect from a pub in this area
Great place to watch some football! No food served here, but there is a place right across the street to get some bar food.
This was not the first visit to this bar, but was the first since the advent of the internet, I last went there during Mardi Gras in 1992 and had a great time then.
Great atmosphere & friendly staff. No food. Don't come here to eat. But you will not leave disappointed.
This is a cool little bar with great Bloody Mary's, a friendly atmosphere, and excellent service. My wife and I had breakfast (read Bloody Mary's) there both Saturday and Sunday during our stay. Having a walk around the area on my own and fancied a few cold beers. Saw this place which did not look much from the outside but seemed quite compared to the bars on Bourbon Street so took a change. Sat at the Barr , had a few beers watching sport. Barman pleasant and polite. Great place to spend an... More
Stopped in after dinner for a cold brew. The bar staff was friendly, and the drinks were reasonably priced. It was quite the sausage fest in there, but my friend and I didn't mind. The bar patrons were funny and entertaining. We really liked this place.
We stopped by Ryan's on a Thursday night to check out our hockey team while we were on the road away from home. Not a lot of places in the French Quarter seem to care about the NHL, so we were happy to find the place, plus my wife's name is Ryan, so it was a good match. There are... More
Ryans Pub was the place my friends and I chose to watch our Ravens play the Super Bowl. What a great time we had! The Margueritas were superb and I have lost count of how many I drained. We were supported mightily by the locals and also some Cheeseheads. I was lucky to grab the Horse's Ars stool for the... More
After catching DC area sports games on the TV here several years apart while in New Orleans, Ryan's is definitely on my go-to list while down there for a few days. What yo would expect out of a little Irish pub, with a bit of a locals feel, and maybe 8-10 decent-size HD TVs on the wall behind the bar.... More
