I really like the food here, but it's definitely a take it to go kind of place because the seating area is almost non-existent

Lamb shorma Plate was nice. Fragrant Algerian hot tea. One problem is the timing . . . Open only midday . . . Closes at 4:30 pm so no dinner hours. Cash only.

Med Cafe serves up delicious lunch in a hurry. It is a cute place, but crowded during its limited operating hours. I love the pita wraps though I always end up with way more pita than I need - perfect for dipping in a side of hummus! Cash only.

This restaurant is everything - Good, fast, and cheap. The only con on my list is that it has limited hours.

I'm almost afraid to write this because this place is my favorite and you already have to wait in line to get in during lunch! There is a good reason for this: the food is excellent and such a great deal. For $7 you can get a giant plate of delicious mediterranean or middle eastern food. For $4 you can... More

I generally stop in here once or twice a week to grab a sandwich, with the sides if I have time to sit down and eat. My favorite is the lamb and beef schwarma (sandwich $4.25) and the side of hummus, pita, and salad (extra $3) makes for a great little meal. I'm not kidding when I say that I... More

Cheap, fast and great food - winning combo as far as I'm concerned at lunchtime. Falafel and schwarma are delicious. The restaurant is right on State Street and has figured out how to move the lunchtime crowd in - and out again in minutes. If you want to dawdle, move to table in the back.

One of our favorite spots to eat at in Madison. Great soup for $1.50! Try the Akins Plate with chicken! Great little place. P.S. Last time I was there, they closed at 4pm. Limited seating

Small place, food was done extremely fast, cheap and lots of food. Pita bread was good. Overall not sure if I just didn't enjoy Mediterranean food or it just wasn't that yummy to me. Somewhat of a disappointment.
