Stayed at a hotel close bye and after peeking our noses through the front door and seeing what looked like half sheep shed half second hand shop we decided it wasn't for us,as the days went on we noticed it was always full so decided to give it a go,and what a nice time with a different atmosphere with great... We loved Biku - it was the only repeat visit we had in Our 10days in Bali. Nice casual atmosphere & great service & food. Very resonantly priced. We had cocktails & wine ( expensive in Bali) & it was still $60 per couple.

The place is cozy and antique.. Great place to drink tea and cake on late afternoon ( the chocolate mud cake was really good).. But unfortunately they are limiting the wifi usage..

Finally, after reading all the great reviews, we made it to Biku! Thanks to everyone who suggested we book in advance for the readings, because it turns out we snapped up the last 2 vacant spots, 2 weeks in advance. The high tea was nice, far too much for 1 person to eat though, in my opinion. Suggest you share... More

This girlish coffee shop is a good place to meet and discuss. Two people or a small group of 10 people. The service is professional and timely. Fresh genuine flowers on your table. Go for the tea selection and nice piece of cake. Also the poached eggs are very nicely presented. A small book shop is integrated to the shop, so... More

I had breakfast here last year on a recommendation and had the best scrambled eggs with smoked salmon ever. I couldn't wait to get back this year and was very disappointed. I mentioned this to a local expat who told me the same. The eggs had some buttery sauce perhaps a poor bernaise poured all over. It ruined the clean... More

Everyone told me when we visited Bali that you must go to Biku it's awesome. It was pretty good - I wouldn't say awesome. The look of the tea room is so cute - almost like a book store come cafe. It was pretty warm inside (not a great deal of ventilation and no air con) but the waiters bring... More

It should not have been a surprise as the reviews on Trip Advisor were all very positive. But Biku was even more pleasing than we expected. From Legian, it took us about 20 minutes by taxi to get to Biku (fare $3). The building housing Biku is a fabulous traditional house with interesting nooks and crannies and an eclectic assortment... We have had afternoon tea there twice now on our visits to Bali, & this place is really a bit different & a worthwhile experience. Food is good & its good value. Michael Adelaide Australia

Breakfast is very relaxing and caters for all requirements but it is afternoon tea that makes the place, just ensure you don't have a big lunch before. If there are more than two of you worth booking a table for afternoon tea, it gets very busy
