Boy did I need this place, after a night out at a bachelor party, this really hit the spot. Delicious coffee and eggs cooked perfectly, thanks!

We caught the subway from Midtown just to eat here on Saturday morning and we weren't disappointed. We wrote our name on the waiting list and it was probably only 15 mins before we were seated, we were a party of 2 and shared a table with another group of 3 but that didn't bother us. The french press coffee... More

Came here on a whim seeking something tasty but mainly to blast away a hangover. Small wait in the lobby area before, with putting your name on a list a good idea to avoid squabbling. The meal did the job, with the delicious eggs Rothko and interesting country scrapple. Had tried neither before but both were a pleasure, in particular... More

A cozy place near Bedford avenue, but get here early because it fills up quickly! Service was on point & very friendly. Their signature breakfast dish Eggs Rothko is awesome, their hashbrown is very unique almost like a potato croquette but stuffed with shredded potato,The scrambled eggs were the lightiest & fluffiest I ever tasted, & the bacon was yummy,... A friend recommended this place to us and it didn't disappoint! Eggs Rothko was wonderful, my partner added bacon and sausage to it which just added to its greatness! I had giant pancakes with maple syrup and bacon, just lovely! Friendly service, bright airy cafe style tables. Expect to queue!

I've eaten at Egg dozens of times, and it has never failed to delight. The Eggs Rothko is in the running for my favorite breakfast ever. The ingredients are of the highest quality, the kitchen is staffed with true pros, and the service is quick and pleasant. Only drawback is the long wait for a table. If it's a Saturday or... More

A place you want to try once in your life. In my top 3 breakfasts I had in my life. Obvioulsy this restaurant pays attention to the ingredients they chose, it is tasty and well presented. The staff is laid back (reminds me North Vermont cool attitude...) and friendly. You may have to wait a bit but is worthed.

Cab to Brooklin, 45 minutes wait but totally worth it. Lovely cozy place. Excellent service. Beautiful French press coffee. Great orange juice. I've had the grits, cheese and over easy eggs with country ham which was fantastic. The ham, particularly was like nothing else I've had before. My wife had the eggs Rothko which she loved. Overall, a brilliant brunch... More
