I've lived all over New York and Brooklyn for the past 10 years, and NEVER have I found pizza as good as Fornino. I highly recommend the Lombardi pizza if you get the chance!
Best pizza in the neighborhood, hands down. Recommend spinach pizza, margherita classica and monzese.
this brick oven pizza was just the best, i ate the whole darn thing! the waiter was great, always checking unobtrusively, and very friendly. you want to eat good pizza - go there!
Wonderful small back garden area, brick oven pizza was amazingly good-the dough perfect in chewiness, saltiness and aroma. Fresh sauce, very good buffalo mozzarella and killer pesto. Enjoyed with Brooklyn's finest larger and this became a bright spot on a dreary, rainy Sunday.
Love this small but great pizza place in the 'burg. You cannot go wrong with the classic Margarita DOC.
I took a group of 14 to the Pier 6 location. We were given three gorgeous tables on the roof that overlooked the Manhattan skyline, NY Harbor, East River, Governor's Island, and the Statue of Liberty. The pizzas were exquisite. We got the truffle pizza, Margharita, and Pepperoni. The ingredient so fresh and flavorful. The crust was light and owed... More
Went by accident last night still thinking of the spinach pizza... Picture the scene 3 native New Yorkers 2 relatives from Scotland. Looking for something cheap and fun/ interesting to do because their 16 day stay has gotten so out of hand. September 10, 2013 warm but a great breeze off the water. looking of the beams of light memorial.... More
We ate here on our last day in Williamsburg. Lunch was a steal at $12 which included a simple yet delciious cesear salad and a generous, perfectly done Neopolitan style Marherita pizza. The crust has the perfect chew and blistered appearance along with a base that was paper thin, not soggy but not burnt. We would have to pay twice... More
Excellent pizzas. The classics ones are really nice! A large choice, and of one is really delicious. The tomato and the mozarella di buffala are simply perfect. A real taste of Italy!
Went there on a Saturday night with 3 friends and the 40 minutes wait was really worth it ! The best pizza in my opinion was actually the simplest one : the margarita with buffala mozzarella. Great dinner, friendly staff, awesome pizzas ! I'll definitely go again !
