Many local folk recommended this place to us, as out of towners (Melbourne, Australia) we are always interested in spots using fresh local produce, a quirky atmosphere and a reputation for making quality food. Tucked away in Bushwick which was one train stop from our Williamsburg accomodation, this place didn't disappoint. The pizzas were nicely charred and had excellent flavor,...

Really love the pizza here. I lived in Italy for a while and really missed the pizza, and it was nice to taste brick oven style pizza again. Some funky pizza dishes too, like one featuring kale. The only problem is it is very congested, I would suggest putting your name in about 2 hours before you want to want...

Roberta's is a good place in which all the food is good, but it's overrated.
I like the pizza, but it's better in Italy, I like the fish, but it's not great.
What is amazing though is the butter. I go there often only in order to eat bread and butter (and the butter is made at home!).
Service is...

The atmosphere is quirky, charming, and hip. The pizza is on thin, crisp crust and is wickedly delicious. Enjoyed the kale salad and the nice beer selection. A great place to visit with friends, whether you eat inside at the picnic table-style seating or outside in the back beer garden.
I was visiting my daughter in NYC and she and her BF were really excited to take me here. They told me it would be a long wait but that was no problem. We went to the outside bar area in the back and had drinks and conversation. Yes, we waited about 2 hours but we expected to and planned...

From the outside it looks like an old warehouse - but step inside and you will be amazed. The place is small, but cozy with a rustic decor. Some tables are shared picnic-table style while others are for small parties. Overall the service was excellent as was the food for the most part. The ambiance was hip and quite noisy,...

A friend of ours is moving back to Oregon, so we took her and her boyfriend out for a farewell dinner.
Everyone has been wanting to try Roberta's, which has been garnering many accolades since it's opening a couple of years ago. At first, we were told there was a one hour wait, but shortly thereafter, it turned out to...

We were a party of four and had pizza for lunch.
They have some nice beers we tasted - they even have a rare flemish beer that we hadn't heard of before, but it was a bit too expensive so we stuck with some local brews which were great with the pizzas.
You can see the chef prepare the pizzas...

As advertised this is a non-descript quirky place in Brooklyn. The pizza is perfect- the crust chewy, slightly charred- all of th eingredients wonderful. Good beer menu. At 2 in the afternoon we were able to get a table right a way but I hear that normally it is quite crowded. However, is it worth the trip to Brooklyn -...
