Glatt Kosher Israeli food. Yummy. A bit pricey (e.g. plan to spend $9 to $15 per person). Shomer Shabbat. Under reliable Orthodox supervision.
We came to Brookline on a Sunday afternoon in search of a good meal for lunch. At Rami's we each ordered a shwarma on a pita with a choice of toppings. I had chopped lettuce, sliced purple cabbage, chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumbers, sliced pickles, and a shmear of baba ganoush on mine. It was extremely tasty and I savoured every... More
I lunch here whenever I am in the area. I went back today and ordered the Shawarma in pita. The turkey Shawarma was very good. Also in the pita pocket were vegetable salads (very fresh), pickled cucumber (pickled in brine), tehina sauce (with the right amount of garlic), and hot sauce. P.S. We've also visit Rami's Las Vegas eatery, Sababa,... More
Ramis is an institution when it comes to kosher/middle Eastern in Brookline. The place has been around for ever and the food is super fresh and authentic. The falafel is to die for and made hot in fresh in pita breads that are super thick and soft. It is a must try, you will get hooked

The vergies are very fresh and offset the deep fried other food. The kababs and shwarma are to die for! Parking is very tough, take out is preferred. I have... More

The hummus was tasty and a perfect compliment to the falafel. The pita bread was heavenly, unlike any pita bread we had ever tasted. The staff was... More
