The place is good if you want semi/quasi-Mexican food. Ambiance is nice and the food is pretty good.
This place looked good from the outside, and we should not have gone in. First negative was that the women's restroom only had one working stall. Service was friendly and food delivery was prompt, but my taco salad kept me up all night, and my wife said her tostada was equally bad.
Every time we've eaten here the food has been very good. The environment is pleasant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We have tried several Mexican restaurants in the Orchards area and this is by far our favorite.
This was a place recommended by locals to eat at.....one thing I found out is Vancouver Mexican style food is in its own category. It is not real authentic mexican you get elsewhere. Service was slow and wouldn't tap the Dos XX keg for just me to drink from, don't know what that was about but had to settle on... More

food was very good quite authentic in flavor and presentation, prices were very reasonable, service was very good and attentive. only dislike the parking lot getting in and out on street was interesting at best at 430 pm.
We were four adults for dinner, and it was a terrible disappointment. Customer service was slow and irresponsive despite the place being more than half empty. Drinks were soapy and lacked alcohol content. Chips are made with lard, and the bean dip has lard too. The salsa was worse than grocery store non-chilled jar salsa, and the food was tasteless... More
Me and my girlfriend have eaten here twice and it's been great food and great service both times. The place is clean. The staff is on the ball. I highly recommend trying the steak quesadilla at least once. We will definitely be eating there again in the future.
My wife and I were looking for a good place to eat when we noticed lots of cars around La Costa Azteca. We pulled in and sat down for a meal. I have to say the booth was worn out and my butt was sagging almost to the floor. Not comphy at all. The waiter was polite and efficient but... More
