I love crab any way served so had soup of crab and crabcakes. Always delicious. Not my first visit there and not my last.
Overpriced, small portions, unconcerned staff, no refills on drinks, service not great.I would recommend McDonalds before this place, and I do not eat McDonalds.
Restaurant impossible. First post your hours. When we walked in we were the first guest. Then it started we were set down by the "manager". Then she stood 15 feet from our table and answered her phone and started fussing with a employee about if they were coming to work. It went on for a while. Not comfortable. Our waitress... More
I was disappointed by this place, for dining, due to the food prices and quality. Not a place to stop for a visitor experience. Except for a drink, it seems. The atmosphere from the outside, on a rainy night, was cozy and cheery, rustic and coastal -- attractive. Our waitress was pleasant. The let-down? The food that my wife and... More
Dirty glasses and dirty dishes did not give the best impression of this restaurant. The waitstaff was friendly, the food was good but not exceptional. Two of our traveling companions wanted oysters rockerfeller, they were "out," however they had fried oysters. This was our second trip to this establishment and since our last visit (about 2 years ago) and it... More
We stopped in here for drinks at the bar. We had quick efficient service and the décor is all old wood and brick. The person I was with had the Chatham Artillery punch… well, he had two so that should say that he liked it. Everyone kept coming in for a Bloody Mary ToGo, so they must be good as... More
Been here often when visiting. Good food but the Chatham Artillery Punch is the fun one. My wife might have broken the record for the most punches drank in one sitting. Should have a plaque hung somewhere. Music on Sunday night by Kellen and Sonny was awesome. Bartender John was incredible and actually sung some also just for fun.
Visited there 11/25/13 decorated really nice for Christmas. Waiter Joseph was really attentive to our needs, this was our 1st time there & enjoyed it very much. My wife had the shrimp & crab bisque and I the chicken & sausage gumbo both were great, for entree's my wife had 4 pepper shrimp in creole with rice, I had the... More
The atmosphere is great! Unfortunately we were hungry. Left feeling unimpressed with the Applebee's quality and plating of the food. The seafood platters were small for the price and oysters were soggy. Very disappointing having had some amazing seafood on HHI. Save your money and appetite for some place better.
