Went to Petit Louis Bistro for my daughters college graduation dinner. Arrived a little early for reservations and they accomodated us. Neighborhood is very upscale early 1900's rural with large houses and apartment buildings. Inside is meant to be like a cozy french chateau with marble tables and antiqued walls but they looked more like dirty to me. Was a... More

The atmosphere is super cute, the service is quick, friendly and soooo helpful. The food is amazing and the sommelier paired perfectly with delicious wines. Save room for dessert though- especially the creme brûlée!!!!!

This was our first time at Petit Louis. We found the food to be good, but a bit rich for my tastes (with the exception of dessert - which was fabulous). The real selling point here is the fabulous staff. Super attentive and knowledgeable. The bistro itself is very quaint, but visitors should know that the tables for two are... More

Tenu is unique for Baltimore. The food is excellent quality and thankfully, the plates are not overloaded. The wines are selected with care and the staff is knowlegeable and well trained. The noise level is high though.

Two friends and I met there to have dinner and catch up on each other's lives. Petit Louis Bistro is exactly that; it's loud and lively. So if you want a quiet, intimate evening, this is not the place for you. Everything that we ordered was excellent. We stuck to the menu, although some of the evening's specials sounded interesting.... More

There are not many French restaurants in Baltimore (I can think of one in Ellicott City), so this is a treat. It has a real bistro feel, the tables are small, close together; but the menu is great. The waiters are very professional and I've never been disappointed in the food.

We love going to Petit Louis. The environment is very cozy and friendly. The staff is well trained and extremely helpful but never pushy. The food is more French country style, very tasty and it does not leave you hungry. The wine selection is quite extensive and the cheeses are superb. Some items on the menu are classics that require... More

French onion soup is awesome. My husband had beef , I had chicken. Both were excellent. If you like juicy well seasoned chicken this was some of the best I've had and paired with greens and artichokes it was excellent. Very attentive waiters, wine stewards. Best bread and butter, yes the butter was very very good. Dessert was Awesome. Lemon... More

We have been going to Petit Louis for years, and can say it just gets better and better. Last visit was for our anniversary and we asked for a quiet table away from the more lively part of the restaurant which is just what we got - along with delicious food and helpful obliging service. The Maitre D. and Sommelier... More

Swiss chard tart made for a great appetizer; it is similar to a quiche and very tasty. Trout almondine was very well-prepared and delicious. Duck confit was cooked to perfection. Cheese tray for a dessert option carried a large variety of cheeses, everything from mild and odorless to pungent and extremely flavorful. Wine list is impressive. Seating can be a... More
