Pretty darn average. The atmosphere is fun. The idea of it being a tea party is cute and entertaining. The food is pretty much average though - nothing special that's for sure.

Only open on Friday and Saturday nights, the Indian dinners served at the Cozy Tea are amazing. The owners are from London and are not wed to orthodox Indian recipes, thus you will see some great beef dishes on the menu! They don't have a liquor license, so you can bring your own wine (small corkage fee) or beer. Their...

My wife and I with another couple drove into town from the beach to try this new restaurant for dinner. You have to bring your own wine, but that works out great with the $5 corkage fee. All of the appetizers were great but the appetizer described as Indian "street food" was incredible.
I had the mung bean entree which...

This place is really a different experience. The tea selections are great and the scones are over the top. Really fun place to go, lots of fun for the "girls".
I've been meaning to eat at Cozy Tea ever since it opened, and finally got there last month. The room is airy and bright, the service was prompt and the food was wonderful. The selection of teas runs 4 pages long, and your selection is brought to you in a small tea pot. The lunch offerings were plentiful, and we...

Mother's Day outing was so wonderful! Incredible listing of teas and the ambiance so relaxing. Not pretentious at all.
Sorry , I expected a much better organized tea service. The prices were high considering the food seemed pre-made...not fresh tasting. I wish I could say something more positive but I just cannot. Might try it again in a less hurried season. "Cozy" in this case is just another word for crowded and SMALL.
Cozy Tea is one of those places you just have to experience. They have a tea menu several pages long, and the food menu that accompanies it creates a perfect pairing. This is a great place for lunch with friends, and you don't have to be a tea aficionado to appreciate it. There's something for everyone.
Cozy yet not stuffy in any way. I've been here on several occasions and I adore it. It's a real tea room run by a charming woman. The teas are always perfect, I tend to get the black strawberry when I go. And I love the lunch menu where you pick a soup and a savory pastry or sandwich. Also...

This place is so unique and in one of my favorite places in Jacksonville, Five Points/Riverside. The food is delicious and the selection of tea is great. But you don't have to be a tea lover to enjoy the eccletic atmosphere and the yummy scones. Stop by with your honey or have a Mommy-daughter day, of which I did both....
