Herschel's Deli pastrami on rye sandwiches are simply the best I've ever had. The amount of meat the guys carve for one sandwich means my wife and I have to share one....no way could I eat a whole one. And the flavor of the meat is just wonderful. A truly satisfying eating experience.

Had our company's lunch catered by Hershel's East Side Deli and it was fantastic! The sandwiches were delicious and the portions were huge! Would Definitely recommend going there! Everything was fantastic!

Great deli in the middle of Reading Terminal Market. Had lunch with a friend from London at the counter - owner Steve Safron treated her to wonderful tastes of pastrami. She is a deli convert and we will definitely be coming back!

Don't waste your time going anywhere else for a Pastrami sandwich in Philly. Simply the best. Be prepared to wait during peak times though!
