What a wonderful find! This was our first time in the town of Bethlehem. After enjoying a slow stroll and window shopping, my husband and I were delighted to discover your tea room. The blood orange tea was delicious! Our server was very friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere!

Exceptional brunch, bangers and mash just ok! The butter bread pudding was wonderful and the homemade scones are a must try. The vanilla tea with cream was also brag worthy.

My daughter and I visit McCarthy's whenever she comes home for a visit. I have brought friends here and every time I visit I always enjoy the experience. Our last visit was exceptional. My daughter and I and one of her friends from out of the area went to McCarthy's for tea and scones. My daughter wanted the bread basket... More

This tea house is located in historic Bethlehem. The location has a tea house in the back of a Scottish item store. The tea house has breakfast and lunch and dinner. The teas are loose leaf and served in pots or by the cup. Crumpets, cakes, and muffins are on the menu for your tea. Sometimes a musician is there... More

The baked goods all looked so awesome I wanted them all! I settled on a scone with jam and butter. Fabulous! The Cottage pie my wife had and my Shepherd's pie were delicious and reasonably priced. The tea selection is Awesome. You can sample(smell) the teas before purchasing and you can also buy by the ounce to take home. The... More

My boyfriend and I enjoyed this restaurant. The scones (we split one currant and one pumpkin) were both delicious. We also loved the potato leek soup and brown bread. The staff were very friendly, giving us suggestions of places to see around town. Its a more little casual than we expected, no tablecloths, but that was fine.

Great dining spot in downtown Bethlehem! Granny McCarthy’s Tea Room, within the Donegal Square Irish shop on Main St, offers delicious and different fare in a relaxing atmosphere. My wife and I have eaten breakfast and lunch there numerous times. Punjab Paddy, potato farl, and bangers are favorites, as are the Scottish oat cakes, served with treacle. The Shepherd’s Pie...
